It is those who will be able to catch the wave, rebuild, become part of the new technological world, prosperity and great opportunities await. I sincerely believe that there are only three things that time does not forgive: laziness, arrogance and stupidity. As for the rest, until the sands of time have swallowed Us, everything is in Our hands, the possibilities are not limited.
Life in uncertainty requires from Us a certain personality, vision and concrete actions. I have developed a paradigm that helps me adapt in a rapidly changing world. This paradigm consists of the following set of rules, goals, beliefs:
1. The world is changing and this is a fact. I have to change at the same rate as the world. This requires constant and advanced training. It is necessary to be aware of the main technological changes, new products, to understand the trends of the digital world, to be a first-class expert in your field.
Keeping up with the times can be very beneficial, as it opens up wide opportunities for self-realization, increasing value in the market, implementing own projects in the field of high technologies, expanding business opportunities and optimizing the work of an organization.
2. Accept the fact that you may be out of work, that you may be deprived of habitual, comfortable, prestigious jobs. As Nassim Taleb wrote, which of the two brothers at the age of 60, living in New York, is more secure in terms of job stability. Banker or Taxi Driver? Who and for what can fire the Taxi Driver (believe me, you really need to try), and the Banker can be fired at any time (I say this as a former banker). Nassim Taleb comes to the conclusion that the Taxi driver is self-employed and works for himself, he is secure, his earnings and future are stable, which cannot be said about the banker.
Freedom is not born in stuffy offices, among faceless plankton. Freedom is born by the hands of innovators, entrepreneurs, industrialists, programmers, farmers. Freedom is born through the minds, talents, energy and tenacity of great people, but greatness certainly has a price. Once Elon Musk was asked: "What could make you surrender?" Elon Max replied: “Nothing! As long as I am alive and as long as my body is functioning, I will never give up."
3. It is necessary to reject fear and uncertainty. The position of the level “I didn’t study this”, “it’s all too complicated for me”, “I am far from programming, new technologies” is extremely losing.
Constantly learn new things, gain new knowledge, skills, broaden horizons. It is especially beneficial for the brain and intellect to learn what is completely new to you. And if you can monetize this new thing, then your development will be full, extending from the intellectual field to the material one. A corresponding concept has already appeared in the English-speaking world: lifelong learning.
