To understand and feel the specifics of VUCA world, let's imagine how much information we receive today through: messengers, social networks, blogs, channels, chats, e-mail, corporate mail, Internet sites, video and audio programs, friends, acquaintances, colleagues and family. In generally accepted terminology, what has happened is now commonly called the Information explosion, which consists in a constant increase in the speed and volume of information on a planetary scale. Over the past five years, mankind has produced more information than in the entire previous history. The volume of information in the world is increasing annually by 30%. According to Rambler, in a month, modern media produce as much information for one person as a resident of the 17th century assimilated in his entire life. Our life in the VUCA-world is accompanied by informational toxicosis and the consequences of this will make themselves felt in the future.

Let's look back 10-15 years and remember what else has changed in addition to the list voiced in the first two articles:

11. ICQ was mainly used, Skype appeared. As a rule, all this was used mainly for corporate and rarely for personal purposes. Nobody has heard of WhatsApp, telegram, telegram channels, Instagram, TikTok.

12. The consumption of music, films and other content mainly took the form of streaming from radio and TV channels, purchased discs and from pirated content (which is bad!). Video and audio on demand was in its infancy. Limited content was available on youtube. Nobody has heard of Netflix, IVI, OKKO, APPLE TV, Yandex music, Sber music, Streaming video, iTunes, Google Play Music, etc.

13. Esports was just in its infancy. We could not even imagine that there would be international competitions with prize funds over $ 35 million. A whole niche has emerged with its own rules, its participants, marketing and market.

14. The blogging profession was just appeared. Such concepts as streamer, creator simply did not exist. Digital marketing was also at the dawn, no one then knew such concepts as influencer, brand ambassador, CGI influencer, advocate and brand evangelist.

15. Nobody used cloud services. Storing data, photos and personal content on Yandex.Disk, DropBox, Google.Disk, seemed like something out of the realm of fantasy. Now cloud technologies have quietly entered our life through video and audio content services, social networks, etc.

16. No one was afraid of losing personal data, no one could even think that using passport data they could hang a loan on us, scammers can call us, someone can try to steal our personal information. Today, more than ever, we feel vulnerable in the face of an army of evil: hackers, spammers, scammers, etc. The number of threats is growing from year to year, unfortunately, the law enforcement agencies have paid attention to this problem only in recent years, but active work is already underway to improve the safety of citizens.
